Raychem/TE Filler
Choosing the right filler material in wire harnessing can be polarizing—many question the need for extra weight when every gram counts.
This Raychem/TE-engineered alternative uses a zero-halogen glass twine filament instead of traditional filler wire. It eliminates the guesswork and visual clutter associated with similar-colored wires. Its bright white appearance stands out clearly, even in harnesses with hundreds of conductors.
Filler is measured by its outer diameter in millimeters. Below, we've provided approximate equivalents to Spec 55, M22759/32, and M22759/18 wire sizes. While not exact matches, these sizes are typically within a few tenths of a millimeter.
