MIL-DTL 26482 Series ? Backshells
M85049/60 series backshells are designed to allow for fitment of a Raychem/TE lipped heat shrink boot to the rear of a Mil-Spec connector. We stock backshells in both electroless Nickel and black anodize. These backshells attach to the accessory threads of any Mil-Spec connector with the prefix of MS3470, MS3474, MS3476, MS3471, MS3475 as well as MS3450 and MS3456. please see the chart below for both straight and 90º heat shrink boots.

It is necessary to use adhesive when attaching the shrink boot to the shrink boot adapter. please see below for the required adhesive and dispensing equipment.
